1. The printer verifies the correctness of prepared materials for printing, according to the following standards:
- completeness of materials for printing (files),
- compliance of the format of the materials with the order parameters,
- compliance of the volume/extent of materials with the order parameters,
- verification of the width of the spine and bleeds of the cover,
- correctness of inserts and insertions placement,
- correctness of font embedding,
- verification of correctness of material preparation:
- for spot varnishes
- for embossing
- for die-cutting
- verification of bitmap resolution
- verification of line thickness,
- correct positioning of cutting lines,
- verification of cover graphics against fixed binding elements:
- creases in the cover
- joints in the cover
- flap creases
- margins
- random check of 100% saturation of black texts,
- detection of elements with white underprint,
- presence and correctness of bleeds.
2. The Company is not responsible for errors resulting from improper preparation of materials for printing, including:
- resulting from the use of transparency,
- incorrect pagination order,
- incorrect placement of blank pages,
- incorrect preparation of layout pages in the interior,
- positioning of objects and texts,
- inconsistencies in assigning ISBN codes,
- colour deviations when printing without a colour reference,
- colour mapping when using colour materials on pages printed in black,
- colour mismatches and the final result due to inappropriate selection of raw materials,
- colour discrepancies resulting from the use of RGB colour space in the input file,
- spelling, grammatical and editorial errors in the content,
- aesthetics of project execution.
