Swadhinata Trust Organisation's Endorsement

Many thanks to Swadhinata Trust, Management, Julie Begum (Chair) & Ansar Ahmed Ullah (Secretary) for vetting my books and endorsing them on their website.

Swadhinata is number one British Bangladeshi lead organisation who have committed to the advancement in the cultural and historical past present and future of the Bangladeshi community living outside of Bangladesh.

"The project aims to preserve the memories and experiences of the elders before this loss.
The project will offer unique opportunity to Bengali young people to research, document and celebrate Bengali heritage & history by recording the experience of three generation Bengalis in the UK. Interviews (interviews will be translated into Bengali or vice versa) will be recorded on audio (and if possible on video), materials (including photographs) will be used for exhibition, publication (including learning packs for schools) and website. Original material will be held with the Swadhinata Trust (for its proposed Bengali Resource Centre) and CRONEM but copies will be deposited in the Tower Hamlets Local History Library and other institutions Swadhinata Trust works with in partnership".

I have started off writing books from the 1990s and have been working my way down to 1980s, 1970s and will be going down to the 1960s and beyond.

All books written are about the Bangladeshi community and in particular for the forth and the future generations whose first language has become English. These books provide grass root and first hand account of experiences living and growing up in the east end of London as well as covering subjects that have consequences of integration and assimilation in to our respective countries. As stated in this paragraph, language and other cultural information and knowledge which you will find in the book titles.

http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/MAPublisher here you will find other cultural books to support the unique culture of Sylhet. There is a range of books on Hazrat Shahjalal and his 306 Auwliyahs.

There is also a website for the mazars of Sylhet and the Auwliyah's  http://www.mazaar.org.uk/index1.htm.

All in all it is a great occasion when your seniors public educators endorse your contributions.

Future projects that I am currently working on are: Altab Ali and his life and family, 35 years on - local politics, Nutritional Bangladeshi Fish Guide and Surviving Wegener's Granulamotosis (personal life account).

2020 is marked to see some more books from me and others.

As a self publisher I also help other people publish their books for a fee (but very competitive to support unique bengali writers). I also produce a poetry anthology named, Penny Authors, this has been going on for the last six years, the sixth volume will be out this year to.

Now that we have been going since 2014, and now have a chart for our book activities -
